On 1st June 2026, St. Joseph’s School, Bengaluru was happy to welcome the newly appointed Finance Officer, Rev. Fr. Ajay N. D’Silva. A warm welcome ceremony was organized to receive and honor him. The event was attended by Rev. Fr. Joseph D’Souza (Rector), our Principal Rev. Fr. Melwyn Lobo, Vice Principal Sr. Sheena, Coordinators, and members of the staff. The program began with a prayer seeking God’s blessings, after which Rev. Fr. Ajay was formally introduced to the school community and presented with a token of appreciation. Before Rev. Fr. Ajay’s speech, both Rev. Fr. Joseph D’Souza and Rev. Fr. Melwyn Lobo shared their experiences with him and warmly welcomed him in their addresses, expressing joy at his joining the institution and assuring him of their support. In his address, Rev. Fr. Ajay D'silva shared a meaningful reflection on the Prayer of Serenity by Reinhold Niebuhr, emphasizing the strength to accept what cannot be changed, the courage to change what can, and the wisdom to know the difference. His words filled the atmosphere with positivity and appreciation. He also expressed gratitude for the warm reception and reaffirmed his commitment to serve with dedication, transparency, and responsibility, highlighting the importance of teamwork, integrity, and prudent financial stewardship. The gathering reflected a spirit of unity, faith, and optimism for the future. The occasion was made even more special as the school community came together to celebrate Rev. Fr. Ajay’s birthday, adding joy and warmth to the day’s events.
