Kokusai-Teki Online Karate Championship

Nivedan P Gowda Shines in the 2nd Kokusai-Teki Online Karate Championship Nivedan P Gowda, a young and talented student from St Joseph's School, CBSE (UKG-B), has made a remarkable achievement in the 2nd Kokusai-Teki Online Karate Championship. Representing WKDI, Nivedan showcased exceptional skills in the KATA category, securing 1st place in his event. In addition to this outstanding feat, he also won a Silver medal in the 5-year age group and a Bronze medal in the 6-7-year age group, demonstrating his versatility and dedication to the sport. His achievements reflect his hard work, discipline, and passion for karate at such a young age. The school and his well-wishers are immensely proud of his success and look forward to seeing him achieve greater heights in the future.

National-level karate tournament

The Karate India Organisation (KIO) hosted a prestigious national-level karate tournament open to all styles from 18th to 20th November 2024, focusing on the kata discipline. The event attracted skilled participants from across the country, showcasing their technical prowess and mastery of kata, a traditional sequence of karate moves. Competing in the 16 Year-old category, Nischal Antony achieved an outstanding milestone, securing a silver medal in the highly competitive kata event trespassing the competitor from Assam, Manipur and Madhya Pradesh, going down to the competitor from Jharkhand who won the gold medal.

2 Gold medals in U-14(Sub-junior) and U-17(CADET) category

Master Gabriel Elisha, a student of St Joseph's School CBSE, Bengaluru has bagged 2 Gold medals in U-14(Sub-juniour) and U-17(CADET) category in the Karnataka Fencing Championship 2024-25 held between 23rd to 26th October, 2024.

3rd place at the Karnataka State Selections for the National Gymnastics Championship

Anya Maria D'Souza of Class 8C of St Joseph's School, CBSE, Bengaluru, secured 3rd place at the Karnataka State Selections for the National Gymnastics Championship in Mysuru. She will represent Karnataka at the Nationals in Surat, Gujarat, this December.

Dussehra CM Cup Fencing Championship 2024( Open Age)

Master Gabriel Elisha, a student of St Joseph's School CBSE, Bengaluru has bagged a bronze medal in the Dussehra CM Cup Fencing Championship 2024( Open Age) held at Chamundi Vihar Stadium, Mysuru. Congratulations! We are proud of your achievements 👏🏻

Bronze Medal in the U-17 South Zone II Taekwondo Championship

A Student of Class 9A from St. Joseph's School CBSE, Bengaluru, has won a Bronze Medal in the U-17 South Zone II Taekwondo Championship. The competition was held at Atma Malik International School, CBSE, in Shirdi from the 20th to the 23rd of September, 2024.

First place in 60 meters Run, under 10 girls category

Jithya B R of class 5 has represented RYS club and has secured the first place in 60 meters Run, under 10 girls category with a time of 9.30 seconds, First place in the 200 meters Run, under 10 girls category with a time of 34.00 seconds, Second place in long jump, under 10 girls category with a distance of 3.09 meters and Second place in 4 x 100 meters relay, under 10 girls category with a record of 56.86 seconds. Jithya has been presented with the overall championship trophy. This tournament was conducted by Adventure Athletic Academy, State level Athletics meet.

First place in the inline skating competition

Nakul Nabhanyya of class 2 has secured the first place in the inline skating competition held by Mother Mary School tournament, on 18.02.24

First place in the 25 yards Back stroke group 3 boys Category

Haran Joseph, representing Blue House, won the first place in the 25 yards Back stroke group 3 boys Category, Swim meet. It was held at WE, Health and Fitness centre. His record was 00:21.60
He has also won the second place representing Blue house in the 25 yards free style, group 3 boys, with a record of 00:18.18

First place in the 25 yards Free Style group 4 boys Category

Nethan Immanuel, representing Red House, won the first place in the 25 yards Free Style group 4 boys Category, Swim meet. It was held at WE, Health and Fitness centre. His record was 00:20.34.
He has also won the second place representing Red house in the 25 yards back stroke, group 4 boys, with a record of 00:27.00

Secured 3rd rank state level Abacus competition

Ashrith G has yet again brought laurels to our school. He has participated in the state level Abacus competition and has secured 3rd rank in the level 5, category 1, conducted by IQ plus academy. He was awarded with a memento and certificate.

Join Botics and Amar Jyothi public school, KR Puram, Bangalore conducted INTER SCHOOL ROBOTICS competition ROBO ZEST ON 2nd September 2023. Our school students participated and won prize in different categories.

eRaksha

Cyber peace, NCERT and ministry of education conducted eRaksha competition in 2022 Bhushan V S of class 12A participated in the self created videos category and won first place.

KIOC league

Rishit Negi of class 11 has participated in the KIOC league and has been awarded for scoring 59 runs off 51 balls and taking 5 wickets, he was also awarded as man of the match.

Garde Children's Cup Inter & School Fencing championship.

Gabriel Elisha of class 7 and Elroi Elisha of class 5 has participated in the 3rd En - Garde Children's Cup Inter & school Fencing championship.

First place in 2nd Sub Mixed Netball

K S Shivaarjun from class 8C has secured the first place in the 2nd Sub Mixed Netball, Junior National level Championship, Representing Karanataka. This tournament was organised by the Maharashtra Mixed Netball Association in Nashik. We congratulate him for his achievement.

Sub Junior Gymnastics National Championships

Anya Maria D'Souza of class 6A has achieved 3rd place in the Sub Junior Gymnastics National Championships which was conducted from 16th to 19th February.

Swimming

On the 12th of February, 2023, two students from class participated in the WE and 3B swim Gala conducted by WE Fitness health and wellness center. We are proud to announce that Haran Joseph from class 2D representing red house has won the First place in the 25 yards Free Style, group 4 boys with a record of 00.21.51 seconds and as well as the first place in 12.5 yards Free Style group 5 boys with a record of 00.09.00 seconds.
Nethan Immanuel from class UKG 'B' representing green house won the First place in the 12.5 yards Free Stlye group 5 Boys with a record of 00.10.97 seconds as well as the Third place in the 12.5 yards kick bord group 5 Boys with a record of 00.15.00 seconds.

Abacus Competitions

On January 29, 2023, Ashrith G of class 1B has participated in the state level Abacus competition, held by IQ Plus Academy and has secured the 3rd rank in the level 3, Category 1. Ashrith competed with students across classes 1 to 3 and has been awarded with a momento and certificates for his achievements.
