On 18 July 2026, St. Joseph’s School, Bengaluru hosted Positive Parenting Sessions at the SJIPS Auditorium for parents of Classes III–V and VI–VIII. The sessions were led by Ms. Jennifer Tavares, Counsellor, Founder & Director of Pledge Academy, and Vice President of the Special Needs Council Karnataka. She introduced Scaffold Parenting, reminding parents that “time is the new love”, and cautioned against overhelping and helicopter parenting. She highlighted love, respect, and communication as the pillars of parenting, while addressing challenges like rejection, reward dependency, and gadget addiction. The sessions inspired parents to nurture confident, independent, and happy children — with the reminder that growth begins where comfort ends.
