St. Joseph’s School, Bengaluru organized Aikyam, an inter?religious prayer service on 8 July with the theme “Celebrating Peace and Harmony.” The programme fostered unity, mutual respect, and understanding among people of different faiths while celebrating the universal values that connect humanity. An innovative video highlighted shared values across religions — love, compassion, kindness, forgiveness, and service — accompanied by readings from sacred scriptures and symbols of major faiths. A meaningful skit further emphasized the importance of overcoming differences and embracing one another with understanding and compassion. Chief Guest Rev. Fr. Ajay Nelson D’Silva, SJ spoke on the importance of unity among religions, encouraging respect and brotherhood. Principal Rev. Fr. Melwyn Anil Lobo, SJ urged everyone to build meaningful relationships, strengthen bonds, and live with forgiveness and mutual respect. The programme concluded with a hopeful message, inspiring all to carry the spirit of peace, harmony, and unity into daily life. Aikyam stood as a beautiful reminder that the shared values of all religions can bring people together to create a compassionate and inclusive world.
