We are pleased to inform you that National Cadet Corps (NCC) 40 KAR BN unit had conducted Social Service and Community Development (SSCD) activity on 25.02.2026 at 'Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences'. Pertaining to the theme Air Pollution and Traffic Safety, cadets from St Joseph’s School also participated in SSCD Walkathon accompanied by ANO Mr Martin Joseph J. Aims -To remind the public and cadets about social responsibilities and educate them about the harmful effects of air pollution on health and the environment . -To highlight the dangers of over speeding, drunk & drive and usage of mobile while driving. Outcomes -NCC cadets actively participated in the walkathon, spreading awareness on Air pollution and road safety. -Cadets developed a strong sense of responsibility towards protecting environment and they understood the importance of traffic rules. -It emphasizes the importance of following traffic rules, wearing helmet and avoiding unsafe ridding practices
