Ignatius Special Assembly - A Tribute to Faith, Courage, and Resilience The Ignatius Special Assembly held on 30th July brought together students from Classes 1 to 12 in a meaningful celebration of faith, courage, and resilience. Esteemed guests graced the occasion, including Rev. Fr Jason Martis, Director and Principal of St. Joseph's Skill Academy; Principal Rev. Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo; Vice Principal Sr Sheena Joseph; Coordinators Ms Nirmala Briggs, Ms Jennifer Bernard, Ms Roopa Roy, Ms Savitha and PTA Vice President Ms Joyce. The day commenced with a serene prayer, followed by a warm introduction and a thoughtful reflection on the theme Pilgrim of Hope, inspired by the enduring legacy of St. Ignatius of Loyola. The cultural segment was a vibrant display of student talent, featuring a captivating dance performance, an insightful skit, an adorable fancy dress showcase by the budding performers, and a harmonious song that reflected the spirit of hope and perseverance. In his keynote speech, Chief Guest Fr. Jason Martis emphasized the importance of contributing towards the welfare of the poor and needy. Principal Fr. Melwyn Anil Lobo shared three guiding principles based on the teachings of Ignatius, urging students to embrace and embody them in their lives. The assembly also honoured the winners of the Ignatius-themed competitions during a spirited prize distribution. The programme concluded with an earnest vote of thanks, leaving the audience with a sense of joy, reflection, and inspiration.
