We the students of class 10 are grateful for the oppurtunity given to us to visit the Vidhana Soudha.
We reached there by 10am. I was taken aback by the building it was a wholesome experience seeing Vidhana Soudha from that close.
As we stepped in we felt the pride of being an Indian, as we explored the interiors we came across several departments which headed finance secretory, women and children community etc. The walls and the surrounding had a majestic feeling. We attended two sessions, in the first, the ministers and the opposition spoke about the current budget and they were discussing about the conversion of estates in Coorg, in the other, they spoke about the development of government schools and also regarding the educational facilities.
We even encountered some MLA's of our locality, the halls were the session took place were royal and thought provoking, the walls had paintings of our nationalists and great personalities who made an impact on our nation. By visually experiencing the session happenings, we learnt about how our government works and even got to know about the ministers and their roles and responsibilities.
Our visit to the parliament was an enriching experience, providing us with the unique opportunity to explore the beauty of our democracy.
